Andamanee is a serene retreat away from the bustling chaos of Ao Nang. The warm welcome with a cool melon drink set a pleasant tone as we arrived. The highlight was definitely the spacious room with an outside balcony that overlooked the pool. I enjoyed morning coffees there every day. The tranquility was just what we needed, with the pool area often being peacefully vacant. the dining experience left much to be desired. The Thai food we ordered was cold and lacked flavor. The breakfast selection was strange. the fruit juice didn’t taste fresh, and the fried eggs were consistently stone cold. the staff's English was limited, making communication tricky, particularly when ordering at the poolside bar. A few maintenance issues arose. there was initially no hot water, and the air conditioning was noisy, which disrupted our sleep. The first room's shower was poorly designed, with water leaking everywhere. After changing rooms due to a leak, we found the fridge wasn’t plugged in, and the safe didn’t work properly. Despite these drawbacks, the staff's friendliness and hardworking nature stood out. The complimentary airport shuttle was efficient, making transfers hassle-free.

The staff were genuinely welcoming, making us feel like part of their family. We appreciated the large rooms with lovely balconies, perfect for relaxing. The hotel’s shuttle service to the beach was super convenient, especially with one child. Highly recommend the pool area for a chill day.

I was treated like family by the owners, who made me special Thai breakfast daily. The spacious room had a comfy bed and a nice bathroom with an excellent shower. It's in a quiet area, but restaurants and a 7-Eleven are just a short walk away.
